Hotel Hana-Maui is located on 69-acres and is surrounded by a 4,500-acre ranch at the end of Maui's famous Hana Highway. It has been a favorite retreat for generations of travelers seeking unspoiled natural beauty, tranquility, and a Hawaiian sense of place since it opened in 1947.

Accommodations at the Preferred Boutique hotel consist of 47 plantation style Sea Ranch Cottages with dramatic ocean and mountain views, 22 low-rise bungalow Garden View Suites, and the turn of the century Plantation House, set upon a four secluded acres above the town center. Nearly half of the Sea Ranch Cottages feature private lanai hot tubs.

To preserve a sense of serenity, the rooms are free from radios, clocks, and televisions. The hotel offers numerous complimentary guest activities, among them daily yoga, Pilates, bicycle tours and rentals, lei making and hula lessons, horseback riding, tennis, and other guided excursions.

The Kauiki dining room showcases farm-to-table cuisine and fresh organic fare, with the majority of the produce, fish and beef on the menu sourced from Hana and the island of Maui. Executive Chef Barry Villiarimo, born and raised in Hana, utilizes ingredients like taro, breadfruit, sweet potatoes, coconut milk, and fern shoots in his menus to honor how native Hawaiians, who depended on the mountains and ocean for food, ate.
