Pendleton announces expanded plans for its annual Cattle Barons' Weekend, May 7-8 this year.
Along with the horse sale---horses will be on main street for folks to see, as well as a working horse preview at the Convention Center to see how well they ride. There will also be saddle bronc contests, mutton bustin' (kids riding sheep), and a calcutta, where you buy a saddle bronc rider and the highest bidder wins.

New this year, and in celebration of Oregon's 150th Birthday, OREGON WOMEN ARTISTS are presenting an invitational western art show "In the Company of Cowgirls' during the Cattle Barons' Weekend.

Artisan booths sprinkled throughout the downtown and at Convention Center, plus the very popular Pub Crawl which tours local saloons, the Championship Dutch Oven Cookoff, and the Western Dance with live music, guarantee something for everyone. Pendleton Rocks!
